What can I say? A great town to spend some time in and an even greater place to learn to tattoo.

The Tatto School Thailand was a fantastic place for my introduction to the art of tattooing.
The place has a laid back atmosphere and is very proffesionally run by a great couple.
I have no idea where in the world I could learn as much and gain so much hand on experience in just four weeks!
I leave now confident and competant to go home and sink some ink. The course covers all aspects and styles of tattooing.
If you are keen to learn then this is the place where you get the support ant tuition to enable you to move ahead fast.
Well its back to Pittsgurgh for me now but with a new direction and a future I look forward to. I will be back here in twelve months to learn

Iam lucky to live in Vietnam for many reasons,
one of which being that I live a short flight and a long taxi ride from the Thailand Tattoo center.
I spent an exhausting month studying with Khantima and Ghitta. It was exhausting because
the set me on human skin really quickly and tattooing is surprisingly physical work.
Their approach to teaching is well structured,
proffesional but also personal and a lot of fun.
In a short month that seemed long I learned a enough to start working and got a good foundation to learn more on my own.
I dont know of any school anywhere that offers students so much practical hands on learning.
Iam looking forward to getting back to Hua Hin to polish up my work but also just to visit.

Hello I am known by the name Bo Gun, and I love tattoos and art work. I decided that I would like a career as a tattoo
artist. I found the website of the Tattoo School Thailand and from the initial contact things just went from better to better.
I first came in November 2007 for three weeks, and I learnt more than from all my reading and information gathering from
six months prior. The people are friendly, curtious and honest and expect the same from thier students, and if as a student
you concentrate on what you are doing and listen to Kanthima and Gitta, you can not go wrong. I am here for the second
time June 2008, to reinforce what I have learnt and to be with my friends at the school. Remember it is up to the student
apply themselves to listening and learning if they want to be successful. And in some cases for some students things come

Tattoo School Thailand is the place to get your hands on the trade and
to start your tattooing adventure.
After only 2 weeks of my 1 month course under professional and
enthusiastic supervision of Kanthima and Gitta I was able to tattoo on
the real skin and get loads of experience.
The course is covering all aspects of tattooing from stencil making,
design, needless preparation, machine tuning to tattooing techniques.
The accommodation was excellent ( check a small restaurant next door
if you fancy some local flavour!) Also the location is perfect as Hua
Hin is far away from typical tourist spotts but it doesnt mean that
you cant have fun here and relax after intensive week of work! ( pop

I came to the Tattoo School Thailand not knowing what to expect, but when i got there it was more than i expected.
i came to the school with no idea of what a tattoo machine even looked like but after being there for a week and a half, i was already tattooing.
it is a very great place to learn tattooing, it is run by great people who are very experienced in what they do, its worth every dollar, having been there for 8 weeks and doin so many tattoos on people i am i now confident enough and ready to start tattooing back home, i enjoyed every day of it, thanks kanthima, gitta and wido for everything!! great place great people nothin more to say..

The four weeks I spent learning at the TATTOO SCHOOL THAILAND were better than I could have hoped for.
I had no prior tattooing experience and in a short time I felt I had learned enough to have a good knowledge base to build on.
I learnt techniques and picked up tips that I could never have got on my own. The course covered all the basics from the ground up and
really pushed me to achieve, starting with large, fairly complex tattoos which where daunting at first but which I looked forward to as the
course progressed.
Kanthima and Gitta are excellent teachers who guide by giving good advice and showing the way to tattoo correctly.
I am already missing the time spent in the studio and can�t wait till I am tattooing again! Thanks TATTOO SCHOOL THAILAND!

to any of the many tattoo schools around the world stop looking right now. I spent a year investigating the various schools offering
courses in tattooing and this one ticked all the boxes,I have previous tattooing experience and even have a close friend who is a tattooist
helping me with various skills but i`ve got to say that after the two weeks spent at the tattoo centre i`ve leant more in my short stay that i
could have possibly learnt in a year . The shear amount of tattooing you get to do is incredible ,the hands on teaching is fantastic ,the size of

Ik deed een twee weken cursus in de school.
Ik wist dat mijn tattoos nog verbetering nodig hadden:
mijn lijnen, kleuren en schaduwen. Ook al had ik reeds een cursus in Amerika gedaan.
Nou ja eigenlijk alles kon wel wat beter.
Ik ben werkelijk geschokt hoe groot het verschil nu na twee weken is.
Bij de eerste tattoo die ik hier in het tattoo school thailand zette was het verschil al spectaculair.
Ik kan iedereen die serieus onderwijs en ervaring wil opdoen van harte tattoo artieste

This class was fantastic for both me and my wife. I have never been an artist (never even played with coloring books as a kid)
but my wife has been an artist most of her life and Kanthima and Guita were able to tailor their instructions to meet each of our needs.
In only 4 weeks we were doing tattoos we never thought we could do in 4 years. Everyone at the school was extremely friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed it so much that we want to go back again next year.

i was a bit nervous before coming to the school, not knowing if ill be able to learn a lot and stuff like that but the staff of Mrs.
Kantima and Miss. Gitta completely chaged that. not to forget Mr. Wido who is always so helpful and fun to talk to. lastly Mrs.
Lake who helps in getting everything ready before you start and clean up after you finish tattooing.
i came to the tattooschoolthailand
with little expierence and had done a few small tattoos earlier but nothing major.
the tattoo school i learnt a lot about shading and colour combinations and now i can only improvise on the skill.
mostly you would start off doing a small tattoo that is only after you have gone through the stenciling,
colouring on paper and pig skin. the big tattoos you do here helps in building your stamina and also helps concentrate for longer period of time.
peolple with no prior knowledge on tattooing should come in minimum for a period of 1 month though 6 weeks will help a lot more.
highly recommended for every person who loves the art and wants to be a good tattoo artist.
my stay here was a pleasure and i also made few very good friends.

Before coming I couldnt even get
skin to accept ink, after a week I was cranking out decent tattoos. After
a month, I came back to Chicago making nice tattoos and getting paid to do
it. Kanthima and Gitta are great teachers, and at 15 years old Gitta is
better than alot of the pros I see out here in the states. Dont waste
your money in America, come to Thailand and learn the right way and tattoo
actual people, and have a great time doing it.

Hello my name is Peter, iam from the Netherlands.
I came here to tattoo school Thailand with totally zero experience as far
as the making tattoos.
In total ignorance of what to expect.
What I have learned in these 6 weeks from Kantima Gita and Wido is more than
I had ever expected!
I had a course of 6 weeks, and in this time i learned so much which i could
never have learned in the Netherlands in these 6 weeks time.
I never would have had the chance for that.
Each day we have had a lot of fun in the school!!! I have met wonderful
people and have learned very much about tattoos.

The school is impressive from the start, with a great looking front and artwork painted on the walls in the reception area when you first walk in.

Upstairs are two air conditioned work areas, where the smell of dettol hits you straight away.

Kantima and Gitta are both approachable, while able to give constructive critisim.

They teach everything you need to know about line work, shading, hygene and machine maintenence; as well as how to be intuitive to you clients needs.

I enjoyed every minute of this course, from the work at the school to socialising with the other students staying at the house.

Before i came here, i never physicaly touched a tattoo machine, only recieving tattoos from artists.

I arrived and was comforted. Showed around, where not to go and how to stay safe, though hua hin is a rather safe place in general.

My first week of class was hard, i must admit for it was a new experience for me. I did excerises, teaching me how to steady my hand

and learning how to copy the shades. As soon as i passed this, the fun beggins. A machine was placed on the table, it was a very

hands on experience. learning the rite from wrong, first on pig skin (that smells soooo bad!). It was hard and i have to admit i did a really shit

job but in a sense it made me want to work harder. the first time i placed the machine on its skin was the most exciting thing for me.

as the week passed, i got better.Learning how to use color and what comes first.

then starting on people the following week, i was scared and terrified, knowing i was going to screw up but i think i did a great job because i had the help of my teachers.

I did 6 weeks and i am pleased with my outcome. I am thankful for being able to learn my future prefesion here in hua hin.

Ive choosen for the six week course beacuse I wanted to do much experience as possible,and these was the best money I ever spent,

I think that is an element of huge inportance for one that wants become a tattoo artist,

in this school you can tattoo every day a different person with the advices of professionist tattoo artists that foollow

I tried for some time at home but couldnt get the hang of it.

I am very, very happy with what this course offered!
It’s exactly what I was looking for to get my foot into the tattoo world.
It exceeded all my expectations and more! And Kanthima, Wido and Gita were awesome hosts, teachers and mentors!! Not to forget Pong too... LOL!
Now I can comfortably and confidently go back home and tattoo people and friends!
And grow as a tattoo artist! I look forward to what the future holds!!!

I came to the Tattoo School Thailand Hua Hin not knowing what to expect, but when i got there it was more than i expected. i came to the school with no idea of what a tattoo machine even
looked like but after being there for a week and a half, i was already tattooing. it is a very great place to learn tattooing, it is run by great people who are very experienced in what they do, its worth every dollar, having been there for 8 weeks and doin so many tattoos on people i am i now confident enough and ready to start tattooing back home, i enjoyed every day of it, thanks kanthima, gitta and wido for everything!! great place great people nothin more to say..
ps... hey kanthima i love thailand so much i wanna live there.. gimmi a job LOL hahahaha

I did a couple of poor tattoos before this course...
Then i took this lifechanging opportunity,
and i discovered right away that I wanted to have a career in the tattoo business.
Its mindblowing as a beginner, right away how fast you get to make big tattoos.
Many times when i finished a tattoo i was completely amazed that i made this.
Great clean enviroment, good equipment and nice people.
I can only say do it! and dont listen to those guys who says tattooschools suck,
its an dooropener and saves time.

i came on the course not knowing much about tattoo but when i left 6 weeks later, i felt like i could go out into the big wide world and start sinking ink,
we were making tattoo after 1 week and we do big tattoo of all styles every day so you get lots of experiance ,
very valuable experiance that i hope to use in the very near future, kanthima and gitta are very good tattoo artists and pass on alot of knowledge that i think you
will find hard to get anywhere else even as an apprentise in a shop, where would you be able to do big tattoos on real skin every day as a begginer.
On the whole i think the course is exellent and i would reccomend it to anyone , thanks to vido and kanthima,gitta and pong for
being so nice and making me feel at home,thailand is a beautifull country and this is a big bonus when doing the course,
do a tattoo go to the beach!the more weeks you do the better i would highly reccomend the 6 week course, for anyone with or without experiance.

I couldn t imagine that one day I will be able to tatoo a big angel wings in the back of a man !!! But after meeting Gitta and Kanthima , this day arrived !!!
After 1 week of technical practice on paper and pork skin ( beuuurrrrkkkkkk .............) I stardt to tatoo a model !! After my 2 furst small tatoo on a lady Kanthima gave me a picture of angel wings ans ask me to preper
the stencel for the next day . I sayed
< You must be joking !!! ????? I wont be able to do that !!!> and she answer to me < of course you can !!!> And ......... I did it !!!!
During six weeks , Gitta and Kanthima always stayed with us to teach us ,to show us and trust us all the time . They are very good artists and they know how to give theire knowledge to new student !!!
I will never thanks them enought !!
I learn something that I realy like , I had never tatoo before in my life and now I feele ready to get my own studio in France .
I don t want to mensionne wido because is such a good man ,nice , friendly and very welcoming . He always give trust about what you want and make you feel like at home ...

I came to tattoo school thailand and to see if i could become a good artist, ,
i was an realist and i new that perhaps this is nothing for me..
normally i would do 6 weeks of school but i did 10 weeks and i dont reget it.
After 6 weeks, sure and was ok, , but after this 6 weeks u become more selfconfident and more relaxt.
its like learning how to drive a car, you learn first after getting the drivinglicense..
The hole family of tattoo school thailand is good and the have alot of experience all together, ,
gitta and kanthima about tattiong and wido about designs, motivs, rules, ink and so on, ,
Kanthima was my teacher mainly and she will not just answer your questions but also show you,
they will let you make misstakes and they will give you a beleif that you will make this and some day
become a good tattooartist if u put your head in to it..
For my personally i promise the tatto school that i WILL become an good artist and i will
be for ever gratefull about this experiense..

My name is Sergio Dominguez I am spanish guy who decided to became tattoist.
What to say, after never before even touch a tattoo machine, in four weeks now
I feel sure to do any kind of tattoo. And the most important, understand all the
process from preparing the stencil until giving customer after care.
All this possible due to practice on real people with big designs, the best way
of practissing and finding all possible troubles in a futer.
Nice experience, nice people and the most important professional.

this tattoo cours has been a amaising expireans fore me
when i came hear i dit not know enything
about tattooing
and i had no expireans.But after a 4 weeks
of the best teaching i cold make a real tattoo .
i am werry thankfull fore everything ..

I went to Thailand with very high expectations, but I never imagined that I would learn this much, and get
this much experience, in just four weeks.

Before I came here I checked out other schools on the internet, but no other place could offer this kind of
hands on education. Worth every cent.

Many thanks to everybody at the shop. Wido, Pong, Kanthima. And a special thanks to Gitta for the awesome
tattoo on my arm.

Its an ideal place for learning tattoo.

Best thing about the school is that we can actually make real tattoos everyday. The pieces we work on are quite big and challenging. We can learn so much out of these experiences.

Kanthima and Gita are great tattoo artists and also good teachers. They let us work independently and support us whenever we need. They show us how they do and we learn a lot from watching them.

Wido, the owner is also such a nice guy, always making jokes and ready to help students.

School has a house to stay not far from the beach. Thai food is great and the town is small and relaxed with everything within walking distance.

I very much appreciate this valuable experience supported by nice people.

Its worth visiting for anybody who are interested in tattoo:-)

Thailand tattoo school has been one of the greatest experiences I´ve ever had. I was first nervous, but everyone were very friendly and helpful. I´ve learned more than I thought I would and I now have more confidence to pursue my dream of tattooing. Through the whole month I got new challenges and a lot of help on the way. The studio is a very nice place to work, it´s all very clean and there´s good space. The teachers are great and they tell you all you need to know to improve.

I would really recommend this course for anyone that´s interested in learning tattooing as a beginner. Hua Hin is a very nice city to stay in with loads to do and due to the accommodations you get roommates to hang out with. I´m really gonna miss my new friends. I had an awesome month in Thailand and I didn´t want to leave. I will remember it always.

My experience at the Tattoo School Thailand was more than I anticipated.
The opportunity to actually work on large scale tattoos daily under the
professional tutelage of Kanthima and Gitta was rewarding. I had no previous
experience other than an innate love for "ink." The instruction and professionalism
has taken me to my next level from these highly skilled tattoo artists. It was rewarding and
recommend it to anyone interested in pursuing the art of tattooing.
